Betsoft Gaming has been a premier developer of cinematic 3D slots, promoted as “true cinematic gaming” slots as their first Slots3 game was released in 2010. Betsoft’s slots are graphically stunning, boasting innovative bonus features and immersive gameplay across all platforms and devices, including mobile. The company is best known for its revolutionary real money slots titles, but they also offer graphically advanced table games, casino-style classic video poker games, 3D virtual poker, 3D virtual horse racing, and scratch cards.
Betsoft’s 3D Slots
One of the pioneers of cinematic 3D slots games, Betsoft produces games with high-quality designs, advanced 3D renderings, rich audio, and complex animations. The company’s Slots3 games are cutting-edge, immersive, and truly impressive.
Betsoft released the first Slots3 slot game in 2010, and their current catalog features over 100 advanced slots across a wide range of themes. The company’s tagline for their Slots3 games, “True Cinematic Gaming,” references Hollywood-style “movie” trailers that set up the plot line for games as well as slot titles that are enriched with cinematic features.
Betsoft slots bonus features
Innovative bonus features and interactive bonus games help make Betsoft Slots3 titles a popular choice for online players. For example, Reels of Wealth features “rolling wins” that award players with a free re-spin every time they hit a winning combination, plus multipliers can be awarded on the re-spins. Stacked wilds and scatter symbols appear on the reels, including a Megastar Jackpot scatter symbol that triggers a mini jackpot game. Players can collect symbols using Betsoft’s “Trail System” to trigger any of four different local jackpots.
Ogre Empire features both a day and night mode, with different bonus options in each one. During day mode, the ogre is awake, and when he smashes the reels with his club, he triggers a random cascade of symbols. In night mode, the ogre falls asleep, and the villagers come out to fill the reels, joined by the wild x2 jokers. Flower symbols are also wild and can dynamically spread over the reels in both modes.
Betsoft’s jackpot slots
Many of Betsoft’s slot games feature local jackpots and progressive jackpot options. There have been some highly publicized issues concerning Betsoft’s jackpots, including documented inconsistencies between the same jackpot games at different casinos and locked jackpots.
There was also a case in 2016 where a player allegedly won a large jackpot playing The Glam Life on Betcoin.ag but was given the runaround and not paid. The issue was reportedly resolved when a smaller settlement payment was made to the player. Subsequently, several online casinos removed Betsoft jackpot slots from their sites.
Regardless of these issues, Betsoft slots are still available at reputable online casinos, and the company continues to expand its business.

Betsoft Roulette Games
Betsoft’s website features four online roulette games, including standard American roulette and European roulette. All of the company’s roulette games boast advanced 3D graphics and high-quality audio.
Zoom Roulette features the most advanced graphics compared to the other Betsoft roulette games. The game focuses on a 3D wheel at the forefront of the action, with additional zoom options as the single zero wheel spins and the ball lands in a pocket. In addition to the realistic wheel, the gameplay is crisp and smooth, and the table offers racetrack bets.
Common Draw Roulette offers a multiplayer roulette option complete with community chat functions. The spin of the wheel is timed at regular intervals, with a clear countdown clock on the screen, so that players can jump in to play whenever they want. The game features advanced graphics, statistics including hot and cold numbers, special bets, spin history, and a close-up view when the ball lands.

Betsoft Blackjack Games
Betsoft’s website features seven different online blackjack titles and variations, including standard games like single deck blackjack, American blackjack, and European blackjack. Variations include Pirate 21 Blackjack, 21 Burn Blackjack, Super 7 Blackjack, and Pontoon Blackjack.
Betsoft’s blackjack titles feature advanced 3D graphics similar to those seen in the company’s other table games. The graphics are crisp and vibrant, and the games are easy to play. If you click to hit on a high combination, you’ll first be prompted to confirm that move to help ensure that you don’t hit by accident.
Pirate 21 Blackjack is similar to Spanish 21, using 48 card decks without the tens. Betsoft’s multi-hand game uses six decks and offers a Dealer Match side bet option. Rules that help compensate for the lack of tens include: player 21 always wins, a player Blackjack beats a dealer Blackjack, and players can re-split aces.
Betsoft’s 21 Burn Blackjack game is a multi-hand game of up to three hands that features a “burn” side bet, where players are dealt one face-down card and can choose to replace, or burn, the second up card in their hand with the unknown burn card. If a player decides to use the burn side bet during a game, it costs half of the original wager. An Ace as a burn card awards bonus chips, but otherwise, the burn card wager is lost even on a winning hand. Blackjack pays 1:1. Due to the cost of the burn wager, it should be used sparingly, but it can be a handy way to improve some hands.
Super 7 Blackjack offers a Super 7 side bet that pays out if a player’s first card is a seven. The side bet payouts increase if the first two or three cards are sevens and pay more if they are suited – up to 5000.00.

Video Poker Games by Betsoft Gaming
The Betsoft website features 14 different video poker game titles, including favorites such as Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild. Multi-hand games are available for several of the video poker titles, with options to play from five to 100 hands.
The video poker games are designed to look like authentic casino video poker games, which is a departure from the slick, 3D graphics that define Betsoft’s video slots games. The company offers an excellent assortment of video poker titles that are easy to use, feature great gameplay, and feel authentic. However, no automatic hold options are available.
All of Betsoft’s video poker games offer a Double Up option after every win. Select a higher card than the dealer’s up card to double your bet (or lose your bet if your card doesn’t win). When the Double Up game screen pops up, the available button options are “Cancel” and “Double” instead of “Collect” and “Double” included in video poker games from other developers. The “Cancel” option could be misunderstood by new players.

We could not find any information about corporate management or governance on the Betsoft or Digitus websites. We were also unable to locate any details on executive management team members for either company through other verifiable resources.

Betsoft is a privately held company headquartered in Valletta, Malta. Digitus Ltd., Betsoft’s parent company, is a privately owned company headquartered in Cyprus. We were unable to find any verifiable investor information for Betsoft or Digitus Ltd.
Betsoft gaming audits
The Betsoft website states that a broad selection of their game titles has been certified by NMi Gaming Labs, which was acquired by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) in 2017. We were unable to find any evidence of individual games being certified by either company, but we were able to verify a GLI certification for Betsoft’s RNG.
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), an independent ISO-certified laboratory (ISO 17025:2005 and ISO 17065:2012), evaluated Betsoft Gaming Ltd. and provided a “certificate of integrity” that states, “The Betsoft Gaming Ltd. Random Number Generator (RNG) has successfully been tested to generally-accepted industry standards for highly-regulated jurisdictions.” The test was successfully passed on 4/16/2012. The certificate was not issued until 9/29/2014 and is valid until 9/29/2018.
Quinel M Ltd provided certification for Betsoft’s RNG as well, as noted on the Betsoft website. The report from the Quinel certification can be viewed here.
The Quinel report states that “The RNG subject to testing (test item J17010165 – I001) was tested independently without any game connected: no integrations between RNG and games were tested.” The conclusion of the report states, “QUINEL M LTD certifies that the Betsoft RNG tested complies with the Technical Standards requested.” Some online forum threads have questioned the significance of this certification because the RNG was not tested in a relevant playing environment.
Betsoft Licenses
The Betsoft website claims the company holds licenses in Malta, Romania, and Curacao. The Curacao license, issued to Digitus Ltd. using the trade name Betsoft Gaming, can be viewed here.
The company’s website states that they hold a Class 4 license from the Malta Gaming Authority that was issued in 2014, but we were unable to find a license issued by the Malta Gaming Authority in the name of Digitus Ltd. or Betsoft.
Betsoft publicized receiving a Class II License by the Romanian National Gambling Office in 2018, but we could not verify that.
Betsoft, operating under the Digitus Ltd. parent company name, held a license from Alderney until it was suspended in 2014 for unspecified reasons. Digitus (Betsoft) then surrendered their Alderney license before the hearing scheduled by the AGCC, so the case was never heard or resolved publicly. Betsoft issued a statement in 2017 that the first ten titles in their Slots3 video library had been certified by the Alderney Gaming Control Commission (AGCC) and that other titles would soon follow. We were unable to verify this information on the AGCC website or find any subsequent statements from Betsoft about additional titles being certified.
