America's Card Room Review

Players Accepted: Over 180 countries including the U.S.
Players Not Accepted: Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky, New Jersey, Nevada, Washington
America’s Cardroom is owned by a company named Betcris which is based out of the country of Costa Rica. By looking at the name of this site you might assume that it is just a poker room, but America’s Cardroom also features a casino and a sports book. Betcris has been around since way back in 2001 when they were one of the largest sports books in the world, so they are no stranger to the online gambling community.
Once Black Friday happened in 2011, America’s Cardroom had no choice but to leave the Ongame Network and look for other places to offer their services. At this point, they decided to buy-out Doyle’s Room via a deal with Cake Poker and moved all of their players to the Yatahay Network. The Yatahay Network then became the Winning Poker Network which is currently one of the largest online gambling networks that you can find as a resident of the U.S.
America’s Cardroom is the flagship site of the Winning Poker Network, which features the second largest U.S. poker room. If you were playing online poker a few years ago you might remember that this poker site was unreliable and full of glitches, but they have since improved the poker side of their operation dramatically. Throughout this review, we will examine every detail of America’s Cardroom and compare it to other gambling sites on the internet so that you can figure out if it is the right site for you.

Reputation of America’s Cardroom

World Casino Index Reputation Rating: 5/5
America’s Cardroom has a history of fast payouts, quality customer service, and a vigilant security team. While there are some reports on the internet of players getting paid slower than usual at times, there are no reports of America’s Cardroom not paying their players and withdrawal times have sped up quite a bit in the last couple of years.
Betcris has a history of bailing out failing gambling sites and making the players whole again. Normally, these sites were sports books but there were a couple of poker rooms as well. An example of this would be the buy-out of Doyle’s Room where there was a trail of debt to all of the players on multiple sites and this was all repaid as part of their acquisition deal. There is no doubt in our mind that America’s Cardroom has the players’ best interests in mind when they do business.
There have not been any large scandals that have happened at America’s Cardroom. There has been recent speculation by many in the online poker forums that there are bots and collusion going on in the poker room, but it appears that America’s Cardroom is doing their best to make sure the site is safe for everyone. They are one of the few sites that actively engage with forum posted on the biggest internet poker forums which just goes to show that they have nothing to hide.

Formats of Poker at America’s Cardroom

Primary Formats Offered: Cash Games, Sit and Go Tournaments, Multi-Table Tournaments
Primary Formats Not Offered: None
It is hard to choose which poker format is the most popular on America’s Cardroom since they all have extremely high traffic. If you can’t find what you are looking for in this poker room then you must be looking for an extremely rare format.

Sit and Go Tournaments

Speaking of rare formats, the sit and go tournaments on America’s Cardroom feature various unique features that are not found on a lot of other sites. In addition to the usual sit and go tournaments that are popular, you can play what is known as Jackpot Sit and Go tournaments or Sit and Go 2.0 tournaments.

Click Here For Exclusive Bonus at America’s Card Room!

Jackpot Sit and Go tournaments are exactly like a hyper-turbo sit and go except that there is a random jackpot attached to each prize pool and there are only three players in each tournament. These jackpots can range anywhere from $5,000 in the $2 buy-in tournaments up to $100,000 in the $40 buy-in tournaments. Jackpot Sit and Go tournaments are mostly in a winner-take-all format unless you land one of the top 3 jackpot amounts in which case the 2nd and 3rd place winners will take home 10% of the prize that first place gets.
Sit and Go 2.0 tournaments are the newest addition to America’s Cardroom and it is one of the only times that you will find yourself rooting for other players to hit certain cards. These tournaments are unique because most of the action happens before any poker is even played.
Before each Sit and Go 2.0 tournament, the players all choose a card from a deck of 55 cards which contain 26 red cards, 26 green cards, and 3 gold cards. The jackpot, prize pool, and payout structure of this nine-handed sit and go tournaments are decided by the pre-game card selections, with the jackpot being rewarded if 9 green cards are turned over as well as 3 gold cards before any red cards come out. After the prizes have been determined, these Sit and Go 2.0 tournaments will play out just like a normal sit and go tournament.

Multi-Table Tournaments

With over $6.5 million worth of guarantees each week, America’s Cardroom is easily one of the top poker rooms in the world for multi-table tournament players. No matter what type of these tournaments you prefer, you will find what you are looking for and then some. The tournament schedule on this poker room is the closest thing that you will find to the old Pokerstars tournament schedule before Black Friday happened in 2011.
Among the seemingly never-ending list of multi-table tournaments that America’s Cardroom offers every day is their flagship Sunday $1,000,001 Guaranteed. This is by far the largest multi-table tournament available for U.S. players and it is not even close. It is also insane that their warm-up tournament which costs $109 and comes with a $200,000 prize pool would be the biggest tournament in the U.S. if the Sunday Million tournament did not exist.
Another impressive feature about America’s Cardroom is the tournament series that they run multiple times per year is known as the OSS or Online Super Series. This year they added a “cubed” to this name which means that there are three consecutive tournament series going off in a row. The first series is for low stakes grinders, the second series is for mid-stakes grinders and the last series is for high rollers.
If you like to have some progressive jackpots mixed in with your multi-table tournaments, then you will enjoy the Sunday Special and the PLO Sunday Special. These are some of the biggest weekly progressive tournaments available on the internet and the prize pools grow every week. The Sunday Special has already reached the cap of $150,000 guaranteed while the PLO Sunday Special still has plenty of room to grow.

Cash Games

America’s Cardroom is ranked second out of all the U.S. facing sites with an average of around 850 players in their cash games at any given time. They are not far behind Bovada who sits in first place with an estimated average of 1100 players.

Click Here For Exclusive Bonus at America’s Card Room!

The main difference between the cash games on these two giant U.S. facing sites is that you can see the screen names of the players at each table on America’s Cardroom before you sit down. America’s Cardroom also has cap games which cap the amount of money that each player can invest before the rest of the hand plays out for free.
The table sizes that you can choose from on the cash games of America’s Cardroom are two-handed, six-handed, eight-handed and nine-handed tables. The six-handed tables dominate the action in cash games, but there are still some heads-up and full-ring games that run as well.
One rare feature of the cash games is that they offer 7-Day No Rathole tables where you can buy-in for between 10 and 25 big blinds. The only catch is that if you leave the table as a winner and you try to return to these games anytime in the next seven days, you must sit with the same amount of money you left with.

Poker Games at America’s Cardroom

Primary Games Offered: No Limit Hold’Em, Limit Hold’Em, Limit Omaha, Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, Pot Limit Hold’Em, Pot Limit Omaha, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo
Primary Games Not Offered: Razz
America’s Cardroom has nine different poker games available, which is above average for any online poker room. They might be lacking Razz games, but so is every other online poker room that is available to U.S. players.
The most popular game on America’s Cardroom is without a doubt No Limit Hold’Em. You will find more tables in each format playing this game than the total number of tables playing every other game combined. The least popular games are definitely Limit Omaha, Limit Omaha/Hi-Lo, and Pot Limit Hold’Em since these tables do not even seem to run very often.

The Seven Card Stud and Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo games do not get much traffic either, but they do get more than we expected. At 10 pm EST on a random Sunday night, there were five Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo games running and this appears to be the norm on weekends. Between the two stud variations, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo is by far the most popular variation.

Poker Limits at America’s Cardroom

Min to Max Limits for Cash Games: $0.01/$0.02 to $50/$100
Min to Max Limits for Sit and Go Tournaments: $0.55 to $109
Min to Max Limits for Multi-Table Tournaments: $0.11 to $1050
No matter which format of poker you are playing, America’s Cardroom has everything organized into high stakes, medium stakes, low stakes and micro stakes categories. There are also additional options that allow you to buy-in to various formats with poker points or with play money.
The full-ring and six-handed sit and go tournaments only have a buy-in of up to $109 which is a little bit below average. However, the heads-up sit and go tournaments range all the way up to $1,200 in the hyper-turbo format and they actually have players waiting for an opponent. The sit and go tournaments on America’s Cardroom fill very quickly in the low and micro stakes but the highest stakes they offer do not seem to run very often.
The cash games range anywhere from a $2 max buy-in to a $10,000 max buy-in, so there seems to be something for everyone in this poker format. While the $50/$100 games hardly ever run, the $25/$50 No Limit Hold’Em games run on weekends which is extremely tough to find on U.S. poker sites. The 7-Day No Rathole cash games tables are available at $.10/$.25, $1/$2, $5/$10, and $50/$100. The progressive point race (PPR) tables that apply to The Beast promotion are available at every single buy-in level.
The multi-table tournaments of America’s Cardroom range all the way up to $1,050 which is not seen on other U.S.-facing poker sites. However, this tournament only happens once a week and usually gets under 10 players so it is not a very big deal. The next highest buy-in is $265 which belongs to the flagship Sunday Million Guaranteed which is the most exciting feature of the entire poker room. It is not uncommon to see every micro or low stakes tournament with hundreds or even thousands of players registered as these sorts of games are very popular due to the large guaranteed prize pools.

Poker Software at America’s Cardroom

The poker games at America’s Cardroom feature software from Dobrosoft, a well-known software developer whose very first customer was America’s Cardroom. Even back in 2001 this software was ahead of its time compared to the competition and these days it is no slouch either.
If you would like to play poker on America’s Cardroom, you are going to need to download the software. There is no in-browser version of this software, but the download is pretty quick and easy to complete.
The main lobby has 17 different buttons which you can use to filter the poker games with. The top row filters the games by poker format, the second row filters them by betting structure, and the third row of buttons filters the tables according to stakes played. You can bypass all of this and make a custom filter yourself by clicking on the “filters” button in the bottom right-hand corner of the main lobby.
Tournament lobbies are organized extremely well and it is not hard to find information on the prize structure or the tournament structure. There is a rare feature in these lobbies known as “Spin to Get In” which allows you to spin a slot reel to try and gain an entry ticket. If you land three of a kind on this spin you will win a tournament entry for as little as $0.01. The rake on these spins is 2% which means you will have a 98% payout rate overall.
The poker tables come with many custom options to choose from which include 22 different table themes, four different card faces, and 11 different card backs. There are also 19 different sounds that you can toggle on or off individually, and 17 different options pertaining to chat, gameplay, and table display.
The replay function on America’s Cardroom works smoothly and there is a wide variety of speeds that you can choose to watch the hands in. There is also an extra option in this replay screen called “Load Hand History” which will allow you to replay hands from any date or hand number, including the last 50 hands that you played on that table. To access the hand replayer simply click on the “Replay” button with the green triangle next to it in the upper-right hand corner of each table.

Flaws

It has been recently discovered that people have been taking advantage of a loophole in the software’s seating patterns. Whenever all of the tables are full and on break, a group of people can register all at once and be placed on the same table. This is obviously a huge advantage and is extremely unfair to other players at the table, so we hope that America’s Cardroom will move to fix this issue immediately. In the meantime, you should avoid registering during the five-minute break of any tournament so that you do not risk being put on one of these tables.

Multi-Tabling Poker at America’s Cardroom

Multi-tabling on America’s Cardroom is great if you are a cash game player. There is a massive 30-table limit for players in cash games, which should keep everyone on the planet from saying they wish they could play more tables.
However, the same cannot be said for the rest of the poker room since the limit for these other formats is 3 tables. This is a dramatic drop-off from the cash game limit, and the customer service team told us that this is because the software would sometimes get stuck when they used to allow more tables. This is going to be a heartbreaker for most sit and go, players because most of them like to play more than three tables at a time.
When multi-tabling cash games, the poker software can be helpful in organizing your massive amount of tables. If you click on the “View” option in the upper left-hand corner of each table, you can see the option to tile your tables with no overlap as well as an option to cascade them in a line with slight overlapping. The keyboard shortcuts for these actions are to press F6 to tile your windows or press F7 to cascade them.

Poker Competition at America’s Cardroom

It is our opinion that the poker competition on America’s Cardroom is only easier than average in the low stakes cash games section of the poker room. The multi-table tournaments as well as the sit and go tournaments contain some of the toughest competition that you will find out of all the U.S. facing poker rooms.
The tournament schedule offers the largest guaranteed prize pools that a U.S. player can possibly find, which draws a lot of attention from every professional player. The heads-up display programs such as Hold’em Manager 2 and Pokertracker 4 also work on America’s Cardroom which attracts professional players to the site as well.
One aspect of America’s Cardroom that makes the competition easier is that they run a plethora of satellites into every multi-table tournament that runs. This means that there are lots of players in each tournament who are playing outside of their bankroll and they will most likely play scared in situations where they should be fearless, such as the money bubble.

Rake and Rakeback at America’s Cardroom

The rake in the no limit and pot limit cash games on America’s Cardroom is 5% while the limit games will take anywhere from 1% to 4.5% depending on the stakes and how many players are at the table. These rake rates are pretty standard compared to the rest of the online poker industry, so there is not much to complain about in this department.
The multi-table tournaments take a rake of 10% in the regular speed and turbo speed structures, with rake discounts occurring once you get to the $100 levels and higher. The hyper-turbo multi-table tournaments only take a rake of 5% which drops down to 4.5% if you play at the $100 level. These numbers are all pretty normal as well compared to the rest of the poker world, but the hyper-turbo rake should be lowered to 3% or 4% because of the reduced amount of skill involved in this format.
The sit and go tournaments charge a 7.3% rake for hyper-turbo tournaments at the lowest stakes and 3.7% at the highest stakes. Do yourself a favor and do not play low stakes hyper-turbo sit and go tournaments on this poker room because this rake is pretty absurd and very tough to beat. The regular speed and turbo speed tournaments charge a 10% rake until you get to the $100 level where it becomes 8% rake, which is perfectly acceptable.

Rakeback

While there is no rakeback program in the classical sense where they put money into your account at the end of each month, America’s Cardroom gives back to players in their own way. With the Elite Benefits program, players will receive benefits from the minute they start playing, no matter what stakes or poker format they are participating in.
The Elite Benefits program on America’s Cardroom is one of the most impressive player reward programs in the online poker world. Each hand you play in real money games will earn you points which can be traded in for prizes such as tournament tickets, cash or America’s Cardroom gear.
There are two different types of points that are awarded when you play which are known as rank points and combat points. The more rank points you earn, the higher your Elite Benefits rank will rise and the more benefits you will earn. Combat points are the points that you trade in for whatever prizes you choose in the America Cardroom online store and you will earn two combat points for every one rank point to start out. This rate will increase as your Elite Benefits rank rises, with Generals receiving 3.5 combat points for every rank point they earn.
The top rank that you can reach is the Five-Star General rank, and if you have reached this point that means you have unlocked around $100,000 worth of cash and tournament entries. Rank points will accumulate throughout the whole year and you will earn additional cash prizes for them at the end of the year.

America’s Cardroom Poker Sign-Up Bonus

Most online poker rooms will only offer their new players a match bonus when they sign-up, but America’s Cardroom has a couple of extra tricks up their sleeve. In addition to the 100% match bonus for up to $1,000, first-time depositors on America’s Cardroom will also be rewarded with 20 days of free cash and four New Depositor Freeroll tickets.

All you need to do to receive these glorious incentives is make your first deposit onto America’s Cardroom of at least $25. There is no bonus code involved with this sign-up bonus, and any bonus money will clear in increments of $1 for every 27.5 Award Points you earn through playing poker on real money tables.
If our math serves us correctly, this means that if you deposit $1,000 in order to receive the full $1,000 in bonus money, you will need to earn 27,500 Award Points to clear this match bonus. We recommend taking advantage of the full bonus if you plan on playing a lot of poker on this site because it will just be free money for you in the end.

20 Free Days of Cash

The 20 days of free cash that comes along with this sign-up bonus is easy to unlock as long as you log into your account every day for 20 days after making your deposit and open your card of the day. You can find your card of the day by clicking on “Rewards” at the top of the poker lobby and then clicking on the green “Free Cash” button.
Each card will reward you with between $2 and $6 worth of bonus money, which must also be cleared with the same playthrough requirement of 27.5 Award Points per dollar earned. The total bonus that you will earn if you remember to log-in all 20 days is $50.

New Depositor Freerolls

The New Depositor Freerolls are the lamest part of the sign-up bonus since the prize pools are only $250, but they do provide entertainment to players who don’t have much extra money to deposit onto a poker site at that moment. As a new depositor, you will be able to play four different freeroll tournaments each Saturday at 12:05 ET for the first month that follows your first deposit.
There are no tournament tickets involved in entering these freerolls. To gain entry, you simply need to check your email and you will find a message from the customer support team with a password that will let you into the freeroll tournament for each Saturday that you qualify to play.

Other Poker Promotions at America’s Cardroom

America’s Cardroom offers a bunch of promotions for their poker players which is rare to see these days. All of the other U.S.-serving poker rooms should be ashamed of themselves and we hope that they are furiously taking notes on how to offer a quality poker promotions program.
On this list of poker promotions, you will find bonuses that apply to sit and go tournament players, cash game players, and players who don’t mind winning vacations to tropical locations. It is a truly well-rounded bonus program that has something for everyone, no matter what format or buy-in level you prefer to play.

Sit & Crush

By playing in any sit and go tournament, Jackpot Sit and Go Tournament, or On-Demand tournament, you will automatically earn points toward the weekly progressive sit and go race known as Sit & Crush. Your results in these tournaments do not matter, this is strictly a volume-based promotion that rewards you for playing a lot of these tournaments in a one-week span.
The best part about this promotion is that it comes at no extra charge to the player. The rake is not increased whatsoever since America’s Cardroom is covering the jackpot out of their own pocket. Each weekly race starts on Saturday morning and ends on Friday night, while your prizes will appear in your account by the end of that following Monday.
The winners of the weekly leaderboard will receive free cash as well as tournament entries for their commitment to playing long hours. The amount of cash and the number of tournament entries that are rewarded all depends on the amount that the current cash race jackpot is sitting at.

The Beast

The Beast is a weekly competition to see who can earn the most points in the cash games on America’s Cardroom. You will acquire these points at the rate of one point for every $0.02 in rake that you contribute, whether you win the hand or not. This means that high stakes players have a serious edge in this competition since they rake large amounts on nearly every hand they play.
At the end of each Friday at midnight, these points are added up and the top players on the leaderboard are rewarded with their share of the jackpot. In the most recent Beast competitions, the top five to seven finishers each received $2,500 for their efforts with quite a few people below them winning $1,000 as well.
In addition to winning cash for these high leaderboard positions, you will also be rewarded with tournament tickets into special tournaments such as satellites to the Live Cage. The number of seats that are distributed for these special tournaments all depends on how much money goes into the jackpot.

The Cage

The Cage is essentially a multi-table cash game which is in the format of a tournament every Wednesday at 7 pm ET. This game features a five-hour time limit and a $1,050 buy-in which will get you 1000 chips to play with. You are not allowed to leave the cage until the five hours are up unless you lose all of your chips, and if you survive until the end of this five-hour stretch you will be rewarded with a dollar for every chip you have in your stack.

The tables are in a six-handed format and the blinds will increase every 55 minutes. The first level will have blinds of $5/$10 with a $1 ante, while the final level will have $25/$50 blinds and a $5 ante. The cool part about this “cash game” is that there are satellites which reward entries for

The Live Cage

This promotion is almost exactly like The Cage, except for the part where you get to play the five-hour multi-table cash game at the Taormina Casino in Costa Rica. The only other difference is that the buy-in is increased 5x to $5,250.
These tournaments will take place every two months for the duration of 2018. You can win an $8,000 package every Sunday in the 55$ satellite that guarantees three packages will be awarded at the very minimum. This package includes $800 for the flight, $1,000 in spending cash, airport transportation and three nights at the Taormina Casino.
At the end of the five hours, everyone will be paid $1 for each chip in their stack. It is important to note that any winnings from this event will be placed into your America’s Cardroom account since they do not reward cash prizes.

The Playpen

The Playpen tournaments feature the same multi-table cash game/tournament format as The Cage tournaments except that the buy-in is reduced dramatically to $10.50. Also, the time limit on these promotions is dramatically reduced by 80% to just 60 minutes.
You can find these special tournaments going off every two hours on Fridays between 3 pm and 11 pm ET. The first level will feature a $0.05/$0.10 blinds with a $0.01 ante while the fourth and final level will have blinds of $0.25/$0.50 with a $0.05 ante.

America’s Cardroom Bonus Poker Terms and Requirements

The terms and requirements that pertain to the promotional bonuses only have one clause that players should be aware of before making their first deposit. Once you sign-up and make this deposit, you will have a total of 60 days to clear the wagering requirements for the welcome bonus. If you do not clear this bonus before the end of this time period, then you will forfeit your bonus money.

America’s Cardroom Mobile Poker App

From there, you just need to fill in your log-in information and you are ready to play some poker from the comfort of your mobile phone.

There is currently no option to play cash games, multi-table tournaments, or regular sit and go tournaments on this app but their website says that they plan on adding more games soon.

The Jackpot Sit and Go tournaments which you can play from the mobile poker app of America’s Cardroom include the $2, $10, $25, and $40 entry fees with the possible jackpot reaching up to $100,000. The Sit and Go 2.0 tournaments are only available at the $5 level where the jackpot at the time of this writing is nearly $75,000. Both of these formats provide players with the chance to get rich from just a few minutes of playing poker in any location that your cell phone has internet access.

In addition to these bets, there are many futures bets where you can bet on who will win each division as well as who will win the World Series. The futures bets are not limited to the MLB since you can also bet on which teams will win in the Japanese and Korean leagues as well.

Basketball at America’s Cardroom

The basketball section focuses most of their bets on NCAA college basketball and NBA basketball leagues but there are also a few options from outside of the U.S. For NCAA bets, you will be able to wager on the first half, the second half or the whole game while for NBA bets you will be able to bet on quarters, halves, or the whole game.
The other basketball leagues that have bets available on America’s Cardroom are FIBA America, Brazil, South Korea, and Baltic League. You will also be able to bet on the future outcomes of the NBA leagues as well as the European leagues.

Soccer at America’s Cardroom

Soccer is arguably the largest betting market on America’s Cardroom since they offer bets on a whopping 57 different soccer leagues around the world. They might even have some bets listed for the neighborhood pick-up game in your backyard tomorrow if you search hard enough. There are also two different sets of soccer futures bets that you can make, one of which is for FIFA and the other is for all other leagues.

Tennis at America’s Cardroom

Tennis bets on America’s Cardroom feature ATP matchups, WTA matchups, and doubles matchups. It is the least popular of the six major sports, but there are still a ton of matches from all over the world that you can bet on. Some of the matches you can choose from include games in places such as Mexico, Dubai, and Brazil. When Wimbledon comes around every year you can be sure that there are wagers available for that event as well.

Other Sports at America’s Cardroom

Outside of the six major sports, there are a total of 11 other categories that you can bet on. All of these categories are either sports or games with the exception of the Entertainment section. This section currently offers bets on who will win each category at the Oscars Awards, but they will occasionally add in some bets about politics or reality TV shows.
The very first category listed under the six major sports is E-sports, and rightfully so. This “sport” has seen an enormous explosion in popularity in recent years, but America’s Cardroom only currently offers bets on the team results of professional matches from the game DOTA 2.
Other than those two outliers, you can bet on some markets that are completely standard for online sportsbooks such as martial arts, boxing, rugby, volleyball, snooker, and darts. It is tough to come up with sports that the sportsbook at America’s Card Room does not offer, but they should add some Olympics bets to round out their awesome selection.

Sports Bet Types at America’s Cardroom

Bet Slip Options: Straight, Parlay, Teaser, If Win Bet
Bet Types: Sides, Totals, Player Propositions, Futures
In each betting market, you will be able to bet on the outcome of each game while some sports will allow you to bet on a specific quarter or half of each game. There is usually the option to bet on the total score as well as proposition bets for certain individual stars on each team. Most of the sports that are found on America’s Cardroom also offer some form of futures bet for who will win the championship of that particular sport.
Once you find the game that you would like to bet on, you simply click on the name of the team you want to bet on and the bet will be entered onto the bet slip. After your selection is listed on the bet slip, you can choose whether to do a straight bet, parlay bet, teaser bet or if win bet.
Most bettors will be familiar with the first three options but an “if win bet” is a little bit rarer. This bet is a great alternative to parlay bets which allows you to climb up the pay ladder game by game instead of being forced to win all of the bets at once.

Live Sports Betting

To access the live betting portion of America’s Cardroom sportsbook you just need to click on the Sports tab in the poker software and then click on the live betting link at the top of the page that pops up. Once you are there, all of the active games will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen under the “In-Progress” tab while all of the games which are starting soon will be listed under the “Upcoming” tab. You can also check out the full schedule of games in sequential order by clicking on the “Calendar” link at the top of the page.
We really like the Match Tracker feature that America’s Cardroom added to the live betting portion of their site because it gives a clear view of what is happening in the game in real time as well as various statistics for each player and team. This Match Tracker is useful for players who do not enjoy watching sports on television, players who do not live in the area where the match is being played, and players who do not have cable at all.

Mobile Sports Betting

Betting on sports from your mobile phone is not possible on America’s Cardroom. It is not even an option to access their sportsbook from a web browser on your phone. To access the sportsbook you need a computer so that you can log into the poker client.

Sportsbook Sign-Up Bonus

Unfortunately, there is no sign-up bonus available for sports bettors on America’s Cardroom, which is a pretty glaring hole in their operation. Their biggest competitors offer sign-up bonuses and they should really consider doing the same in the near future.

Sportsbook Promotions

There is currently a total of zero promotions for sports bettors to take advantage of on America’s Cardroom. If a quality promotions program is what you are looking for then Bovada is most likely going to be your sportsbook of choice as a resident of the U.S.

Casino at America’s Cardroom

Software Platform: HTML5
Games Offered: Table Games, Slots, Video Poker, Bingo, Keno
Games Not Offered: Live Dealer Games, Scratch Cards
The casino portion of America’s Cardroom can be accessed by logging into your poker client and then clicking on the tab marked “Casino” which is located right next to the “Sports” tab. Once you do this, you will be brought to mytruegames.com which is the server where America’s Cardroom hosts their various casino games.
All of the casino games are made with the programming language HTML5 which makes them very lightweight and easy to load in your web browser as long as you have Flash Player. There is no information whatsoever on these games as to who developed them and when we asked customer support for this information they refused to tell us.
America’s Cardroom contains fewer casino games in each category than most online casinos do. This is yet another fact which reveals that America’s Cardroom is dedicated to being a high-quality poker room before anything else.

Slots at America’s Cardroom

Number of Slots: 15
Min and Max Slot Bets: Min from $0.05 to $1.00, Max from $0.75 to $125
Most online casinos offer hundreds if not thousands of slot games for their customer to play, but America’s Cardroom only offers 15 of them. This is without a doubt the smallest selection of slot games that you can find in an online casino these days.
If you are looking for the games with the highest maximum bet then you will want to play Railway Riches or Spells and Potions which will allow you to bet $125 per spin. More than half of these slots will allow you to make the minimum bet of $0.05 per spin.

America’s Cardroom might be the first casino we have ever seen which has just as many table games as they do slot games. With that being said, they still have far fewer table games to choose from compared to other online casinos. This category includes two of the main variations of Roulette, four variations of Blackjack, and a random spattering of very common table games.
The largest bet that you can make in this section is $500 on one roulette spin. In Blackjack and Craps, the largest you can bet is $250 per round, while baccarat allows a max bet of $300.

There are a total of five different video poker games that you can play on America’s Cardroom, all of which are very common variations that can be found in most online casinos. Deuces Wild, Jacks or Better, and Jokers Wild all have a special variation where you can play 25 hands at once. This is a relatively lame video poker section compared to most online casinos.

Casino Tournaments at America’s Cardroom

One of the cool features of the casino on America’s Cardroom is that they hold daily tournaments for players to compete in. When most people hear casino tournaments they think of slot machines, but America’s Cardroom offers these tournaments for blackjack players as well!
The payouts in these tournaments are very similar to poker tournament payouts with the top ten players receiving money in each tournament. The top five spots receive cash prizes, sixth place through eighth place receive casino credit prizes, and ninth and tenth place receive one free entry into the weekly $2,500 tournament. The amount of money that is rewarded all depends on which tournament it is but most of them will pay between $400 and $800 for first place.

Casino Sign-Up Bonus at America’s Cardroom

Much like in their sportsbook, America’s Cardroom does not offer any sign-up bonuses for casino players. This is pretty rare for an online casino since almost all of them have some sort of welcome bonus for new players. If you are looking for a deposit bonus you will only be able to find one in the poker section of America’s Cardroom.

Other Casino Promotions at America’s Cardroom

There are no bonus promotions available for casino players on America’s Cardroom. There is no reason why this should be the case when they have such a large number of promotions for their poker players. Anyone who lives in the U.S. and would like to play in a casino that offers bonus promotions is better off joining Bovada or one of the other various online casinos available to Americans since nearly all of them will offer bonus promotions of some sort.

Customer Service at America’s Cardroom

Contacting the customer service department of America’s Cardroom is easy since you can either give them a call, send them an email, or fire up the Live Chat feature whenever you have a question. Overall, we are very impressed with the customer service level on America’s Cardroom when it comes to speed and helpfulness as they appear to be unmatched in this department in the U.S. market. They are also one of the few online poker sites that bother to frequent the biggest online poker forums in order to help with any complaints that come from them.
To contact America’s Cardroom via email you can send a message to . We sent a test email to see what the response time is like and we received an email back in 20 minutes. This is perfectly acceptable compared to other poker rooms but, impressively, it is still the slowest contact method that you can choose on America’s Cardroom.
If calling by telephone is your ideal method of contact when dealing with a poker room’s customer service team then you can give America’s Cardroom a call at +1-877-314-4195. We tested this phone number out and we were greeted by a customer service representative in 13 seconds. This is amazingly fast for a U.S. facing site since other sites can take more than 30 minutes to answer calls.
If you would like to use Live Chat to talk to a customer service representative you simply need to hover your mouse over the “Support” tab at the top of the webpage of America’s Cardroom and then click on the gray “Live Chat” button. Surprisingly, when we tested out this Live Chat feature we were met with a response to our question in a mere 5 seconds which was even faster than the telephone response.

Deposit and Withdrawal Options at America’s Cardroom

Minimum Deposit: $10
Maximum Deposit: $100,000
Deposit Methods: Bitcoin, Visa Card, MasterCard, Crypto Transfer, Money Transfer, ecoPayz, Neteller, Skrill
Withdrawal Methods: Crypto Transfer, Bitcoin, ecoPayz, Neteller, Skrill, Money Transfer, Debit Cards, Check via Courier
Since players from the U.S. will not be able to use the e-wallet banking options such as ecoPayz, Neteller or Skrill, the minimum and maximum limits for deposits into their accounts will be slightly different. A U.S. player can deposit a minimum of $25 with the Visa Card or Mastercard options and the maximum deposit possible for them will be $25,000 with Bitcoin.
Players with a bank account inside of the U.S. will most likely not be able to use their debit card to deposit. Instead, these players can put money on a prepaid Visa card that handles international transactions and they will be able to deposit up to $550.
Money Transfers include companies such as Western Union and Moneygram which allow you to send money to a person. In order to deposit with this method, you will need to contact the customer service department so that you know who to send your deposit to. You can then transfer your funds using the information they give you at any money transfer service counter. You can also send the money via their website or over the phone if you have a credit or a debit card, but if you have one of these cards you should probably use it to deposit directly onto America’s Cardroom and save yourself a lot of trouble.
Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular in the online gambling world due to its generous banking limits and speedy anonymous transactions. If you are using Bitcoin you will be able to deposit anywhere from $50 to $25,000 and you can withdraw anywhere from $50 to $10,000 once per day. There is a 2% fee involved with Bitcoin withdrawals, but deposits are free of charge. You should receive your Bitcoin withdrawals within two days which makes it the fastest option available on America’s Cardroom.

Unique Aspects

One unorthodox aspect of the banking options on America’s Cardroom is that you can deposit and withdraw money with a large number of cryptocurrencies by using the Crypto Transfer option. The coins that are accepted other than the previously discussed Bitcoin include Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Monero, Dash, Dogecoin, Digibyte, Ethereum Classic, Vertcoin, Zcash, EOS, Komodo, district0x, FirstBlood, Aragon, Basic Attention Coin, Bancor, Bitcoin Gold, BitCrystals, Blackcoin, Civic, Clams, Decred, Edgeless, Factoids, GameCredits, Gnosis, Golem, Matchpool, LBRY Credits, NEO, Numeraire, Potcoin, Augur, Reddcoin, RCN, iExec, Salt, Status, Storj, Startcoin, Swarm City, WeTrust, Waves, and Wings.
Each cryptocurrency comes with its own specific minimum and maximum withdrawal and deposit limits but they will all put money into your account quickly and anonymously.
Another great feature of America’s Cardroom is that they offer players a refillable debit card for a mere $40 plus a $5 per month fee. This fee is debited out of your card balance every month, and you will also be charged a small $3 fee every time you use the card as well as every time you reload the card. The reason why this card is so convenient is that you can use it at any ATM machine to withdraw your cash quickly and anonymously. You will be able to withdraw anywhere from $100 to $2,500 to this card once per week and the funds will move from your poker account to your card within 1-3 business days.

Warnings

Withdrawing your money with the check by courier method will incur a $65 fee. This is way too expensive and you should avoid this option if at all possible, especially if you plan on withdrawing a small amount of money. It also takes 5-7 business days to receive a check by courier, which is longer than the other methods, and they sometimes get lost in the mail as well.
If you insist on ordering a check you should take advantage of their offer where one check per month is free which will be sent via regular mail instead of courier. This means that these checks could take up to a month to arrive which is obviously not ideal but it is probably worth saving $65.
One last warning is that the fees involved with Money Transfers are extremely high in comparison to other banking options. However, if you deposit at least $300 then America’s Cardroom will waive the fees so we recommend doing this every time if possible. The withdrawal range for a Money Transfer is only $100 to $300 and the fees will be around 10%.
