CNIGA Announces Election Results
The California Nations Indian Gaming Association (CNIGA) announced the election of Daniel J. Tucker to the position of chairman and Steve Stallings to the position of treasurer. Leon Benner, from the Redding Rancheria, was re-elected eastern representative and Cody Martinez, treasurer of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, was elected southern representative. Chairman Tucker previously served as chairman of CNIGA between 1995 and 2001. Stallings replaces Dennis Hendricks who did not seek re-election. Potawatomi Bingo Casino has named Jim O’Kimosh director of slot operations. O’Kimosh will be responsible for overseeing all slot operations, including developing long-term strategies, analyzing the department’s performance, continually looking at ways to improve guests’ experiences and ensuring strict adherence to rules set forth by all regulatory bodies. IGT Makes Executive Announcements
International Game Technology has named Robert Melendres chief legal officer and corporate secretary, and Craig Billings chief of staff and head of corporate development. Melendres and Billings previously held positions at IGT as chief of staff and vice president of corporate finance and investor relations, respectively. Melendres’ corporate secretary appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

IGT also announced that David D. Johnson has resigned as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective Jan. 4, 2010. Formerly with Anchor Gaming, Johnson joined IGT in 2003 and has been responsible for IGT’s legal, government relations and compliance departments. IGT expects to name a new General Counsel by the end of 2009.

Ainsworth Now Licensed In Nevada
