Paradise Island Casino Mayagüez Review

The Paradise Island Casino can be found within Mayagüez Resort & Casino which is the biggest resort in Western Puerto Rico. The resort and its casino are both owned by a group of local investors. One of the most notable points to make is that the Paradise Island Casino has a large casino floor and they provide a variety of other entertainment. There is plenty to see on the Puerto Rico scenic West Coast. The Resort has a hilltop view of the stunning deep-water harbor of Mayagüez and has a fully operational water park.
Mayagüez Resort & Casino is situated relatively far from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Puerto Rico’s capital city of San Juan. It will take approximately two and a half hours to drive from the airport to the resort. The airport serves many popular airlines and is the cheapest way into Puerto Rico from the continental United States.
As for traveling to the casino, it is recommended that guests rent a car or use a reputable shuttle company because public transport in Puerto Rico is notoriously unreliable. Alternatively, you can take a 25-minute shuttle flight from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport to the local Eugenio Maria de Hostos Airport, which is just a 15-minute drive from the Resort.
When it comes to the dress code, the casino is very strict and maintains a minimum standard of semi-formal attire. The legal age for both gambling and drinking in Puerto Rico is 18 and expect the casino to be checking identification upon entry.
