Fiesta Rancho Hotel & Casino Review

Fiesta Rancho is part of a large family of locals casinos owned by Station Casinos. It is located on Rancho Dr. at its intersection with West Lake Mead Blvd and is across the street from Texas Station.
Fiesta Rancho is mostly a locals casino and there is little to do at Fiesta Rancho beyond gambling. There is an ice rink for hockey and skating as well as a couple of bars with lounges and some casual dining options. That is about it when it comes to non-gaming activities, however.

Casino at Fiesta Rancho

There are 12 table games at Fiesta Rancho. There are two craps tables with $3 min. and $500 max. The odds are 10 times and the Field pays double on 12. Roulette is spread with two zeros at one table and the limits are $3-$300. There’s also quarter video roulette a few steps away from the table games pit.
There are five double deck blackjack tables with a $5 min. and $500 max. Double down before and after splitting is permitted. There is a six-deck blackjack table with the same limits that offers surrender and pays 3-2 on blackjack.
There is a $5-$500 single deck blackjack table with double down before splitting. There’s also a $3-$200 six-deck game with a continuous shuffle machine. However, these games pay 6-5 on blackjack. The dealer hits soft 17 at all Fiesta Rancho blackjack tables.
Pai Gow Poker is spread with $5-$500 limits and it offers an optional $1 progressive jackpot side bet. The jackpot is networked with all other Station Casinos in Nevada, so it can get quite large.

Video Poker

The video poker at Fiesta Rancho is well above average. There are three banks of 100% or higher machines. The best of these is Deuces Wild (100.76%) but other options include Double Bonus (100.17%), Loose Deuces Wild (100.15%) and Double Double Bonus (100.07%). These games are spread in nickels, dimes and quarters. These games require $12 to earn 1 Boarding Pass point.
Players looking for quality video poker machines that pay full points will be able to find these machines at Fiesta Rancho. There are three banks of machines that say “Up to 99.8%” on the sign above them. The denominations are quarter, half-dollar and dollar.
The games are Triple Bonus Plus (99.8%), Not-so-ugly Deuces Wild (99.73%), Super Double Bonus (99.69%), Bonus Poker Deluxe (99.64%) and Jacks or Better (99.54%).

Boarding Pass Player Program

Boarding Pass is the players club for all Station Casinos. Players receive 0.3% cash back, comps or free play on most machines. That goes down to 0.075% on the 100% video poker games.
There are five levels of the Station Casinos Boarding Pass program. New players start at Preferred tier, but it is easy to achieve Gold. The real benefits do not start until you reach Platinum. These players receive 25% off the buffet when using points. That goes to 50% off for President and Chairman players. President players receive a host and priority seating and line passes. Chairman players get all these benefits plus VIP bowling and movie theater access, as well as limousine service.

Dining & Restaurants at Fiesta Rancho

There are seven dining options at Fiesta Rancho, all of which are casual or fast food.

Culichi Town

Culichi Town is a Mexican restaurant. It opens at 11 AM during the week and 10 AM on weekends. The menu consists mainly of appetizers and seafood dishes, with a few vegetarian, chicken and beef options. There is a sushi menu with a Mexican influence. There is a separate lounge that offers live music on weekends.

Festival Buffet

The Festival Buffet is open for lunch and dinner during the week. On weekends, brunch is added to the lineup. Lunch is $11.99. Dinner is $14.99 during the week and $15.99 on special weekends. Friday night is Rajun’ Cajun night. Saturday is Latin night. Brunch is $15.99. Boarding Pass members receive discounts of $3 to $5, depending on the meal and player’s tier.
The other options are all fast food. There is a Subway with a Dreyer’s Ice Cream next to the ice arena. A Denny’s is located next to the buffet. Wingin’ It and Panda Express are in a small food court near the table games.

Venues & Hotspots at Fiesta Rancho

There is an ice arena at Fiesta Rancho that hosts open skating and hockey. The rink is used by the Vegas Golden Knights youth programs for practice and adult leagues also use it for games. There is an arcade in the same area as the ice center.
Aside from the ice rink and the bars/lounges, there is little else to do at Fiesta Rancho when it comes to entertainment. There is a small nightclub, but it only opens for special events. Culichi Town, the Mexican restaurant here, has live music every weekend (on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays).

Hotel at Fiesta Rancho

There are 100 hotel rooms at Fiesta Rancho with rates starting at $35 for weeknights and $99 on weekends. This does not include an $18 resort fee which allows you to use the pool and access free WiFi.
There are just two room options, which include one king or two double beds. Each room is 274 square feet, making them one of the smallest hotel rooms in Las Vegas. Guests may choose between smoking and nonsmoking rooms. Each room has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
