Texas Station is a locals casino owned and operated by Station Casinos and uses the company’s Boarding Pass players club. Texas Station is located on Rancho Rd at its intersection with Lake Mead Blvd in North Las Vegas. Fiesta, a sister property to Texas Station, is located across the street.
Texas Station is a typical Station Casinos property. It offers value gaming with $5 min. table games as well as slots and video poker denominations that start at a penny. The game returns at this casino are above average.
There is also a small hotel with 200 rooms at Texas Station. This is the minimum required by law for an unrestricted gaming license. There are a few activities beyond gambling available at Texas Station, including a bowling alley and movie theater. There are several dining options, most of which are either casual or fast food.

Gaming at Texas Station

There are many favorable table games and slot machines and video poker games at Texas Station – in terms of pay tables and game rules. The most popular table game at Texas Station is, by far, double deck blackjack. Blackjack pays 3-2 at this game, and players may double before and after splitting. The dealer hits soft 17. Limits are $5-$500.
There is $5-$500 Pai Gow Poker game here as well. There is an optional $1 progressive jackpot side bet tied to all Station Casinos that hits when a seven-card straight flush is dealt.
Craps is available with $3-$1,000 limits with ten times odds. The Field pays double on 12. Roulette is spread with two zeros and limits of $5 to $500.

Video Poker

The video poker at Texas Station is above average. There are two banks of 100% video poker. The best is full pay Deuces Wild. It returns 100.76% when playing perfect strategy and five coins. It is available only in the quarter denomination.
There are five other video poker games at Texas Station that return more than 100%. They are Double Bonus (100.17%), Loose Deuces Wild (100.15%), Super Double Bonus Wild (100.08%) and Double Double Bonus (100.07%). All of these titles are spread in dime, quarter and half dollar denominations. Double Bonus and Double Double Bonus are also spread in dollars. These machines only pay one Boarding Pass point for every $12 in coin-in.
There are other video poker games that return just under 100%. These games return the normal $3 coin-in for $1. The best is Triple Deuces Wild. This high variance game is found in a bank near the café in nickel, dimes and quarters.
There are two banks of “Up to 99.8%” video poker machines at Texas Station. Denominations are quarter, half dollar and dollar. The games include Triple Bonus Plus (99.8%), Not-so-ugly Deuces Wild (99.73%), Bonus Poker Deluxe (99.64%) and Jacks or Better (99.54%).

There is a large 486-seat bingo hall at Texas Station. The first session starts at 9 AM and there is a new session every two hours with the last one being held at 11 PM.

Texas Station offers a small but modern sportsbook in the center of the casino. It uses Station Casino odds. Bets may be made at the counter, but bettors can also deposit for the STN Sports app that works anywhere in Nevada.

Dining & Restaurants

There are nine dining options at Texas Station, and all of them are casual or fast food. There are no fine dining restaurants here.

Grand Café

Grand Café is the 24-hour dining option at Texas Station. It has the typical café menu items for a Station Casinos property. There is a large breakfast menu that is available 24 hours a day. Lunch and dinner items include salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, chicken, seafood and prime rib and other entrees. There is a monthly special menu, as well as a graveyard one that starts at $2.49.

Oyster Bar

The Oyster Bar is open at 11am daily. It has a typical casino oyster bar menu. It includes raw, steamed and fried oysters, bouillabaisse, cioppino, shrimp, gumbo and boils. There are sandwiches and a wide appetizer menu.

Buffet

The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Breakfast is $9.99. Lunch is $12.99. Dinner is $15.99 during the week and $1 more on weekends. Sunday brunch is $15.99. Boarding Pass players receive discounts of $2 to $5.

Fast Food Options

The food court consists of Panda Express, Fatburger, Starbucks and Slices Pizzeria. Other quick serve options are the bowling alley snack bar and La Flor de Michoacan.

Texas Station Venues & Hotspots

There are a few non-gaming activities at Texas Station. There is an 18-screen movie theater. The South Padre lounge offers weekend musical acts. There is a Kid’s Quest daycare center on the property.
Texas Star Lanes offers 60 bowling lanes. Cosmic bowling is offered several times a week. Lanes may be reserved per game or by the hour. There are leagues throughout the year at Texas Star Lanes.

Hotel at Texas Station

Texas Station has 200 hotel rooms and offers basic amenities. Rates start at $47 on weeknights and $129 on weekends, but on some weekends prices can approach $200. There is an additional nightly resort fee of $20. Room trims include either one king or two queens. They are available in smoking and nonsmoking.
