ADI Time Signs Partnership with Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies

ADI Time, a leading developer of cloud computing time and attendance management software-as-a-service (SaaS) for small- to mid-sized businesses and divisions of large enterprises, has established a partnership with Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, a leading global provider of hand geometry-based Schlage HandPunch biometric terminals for collecting time and attendance information. The business partnership entails purchase of Schlage Biometrics’ full product line, including F-Series and the new GT-400 HandPunch terminals, directly.

The Schlage GT-400 is the first of a new generation of terminals created specifically for time and attendance and workforce management applications. The smaller, improved Schlage GT-400 HandPunch terminal uses the size and shape of each employee’s hand for verification, making it fast, efficient and easy to use. With a large LCD screen and programmable soft keys, perfect for interactive workforce management kiosks, the HandPunch GT-400 provides a conduit for employee communication right at the terminal. Its Linux platform offers software developers of time and attendance and workforce management products a variety of easy interface options.

“The HandPunch time clocks have automated and simplified the task of collection of time and attendance data and have given us better control in trying to insure that only authorized individuals are entering the facility and accessing the system,” explained Anthony Capozzi, Manager at Calise & Sons Bakery, Inc. “The combination of the Schlage HandPunch terminal and ADI Time’s workforce management software has given us the ability to effectively and efficiently manage our employee’s time and attendance.”

“To complement our popular SaaS subscription service and licensed time and attendance software, ADI Time was seeking a strong alliance with a leading provider of biometric terminals in order to address the needs of our partner and user communities,” explains ADI Time CEO John DiPippo. “Partnering with Ingersoll Rand provides us with both a uniquely differentiated product via Schlage’s hand readers, and a direct relationship with an organization that has the size, product breadth, and industry leadership to ensure we are in the best position to delight our customers and maximize market exposure.”

“ADI Time has been successfully providing payroll and human relations managers with our Schlage HandPunch solutions for over a dozen years,” adds Jon Mooney, Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies general manager, Schlage Biometrics. “They are exactly the type of partner that can help organizations achieve new levels in time and attendance and workforce management data collection by leveraging the Schlage GT-400 HandPunch reader.”
