SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Review

SLS Las Vegas is located on the far north end of the Las Vegas Strip. It opened on August 23, 2014. SLS Las Vegas is on the former site of Sahara, which opened in 1951 and closed on May 16, 2011. It is owned by SBE Entertainment. SLS Las Vegas is its only gaming property. SBE Entertainment owns and operates hotels and nightclubs in numerous other markets outside Las Vegas.
SLS Las Vegas has no major theme. It has the feel of a classy nightclub with gaming. This is no coincidence as the parent company is a major nightclub operator.

Single Deck Blackjack pays 6-5 on a natural and allows double down on any two cards. Double deck allows players to double on the first two cards and after splitting. The shoe games in the main casino floor permit double down on any two cards and after splitting. Players may also surrender and resplit aces. The main casino floor games hit a soft 17, while the high limit games stay on all 17s. High limit action starts at $100.
