Silver Nugget is located on N. Las Vegas Blvd in North Las Vegas. It is in a tough part of town, to say the least; the property has been the subject of 4 deaths related to crime since 2016. One involved an employee murdering another before getting killed by police back in 2016. There was a separate double murder later that same year in the parking lot.
Crime is not the only problem that has plagued Silver Nugget since opening in 1964. Once again in 2016, the main restaurant was temporarily shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District due to a bed bug infestation.
While gaming is Silver Nugget’s primary business, there is an event center and bowling alley there as well. Silver Nugget does not offer a hotel, and guests are asked to stay at the Lucky Club, which is nearby on Cheyenne Avenue. This is a basic motel-style operation.

Casino at Silver Nugget

There is little reason to gamble at Silver Nugget. Its video poker trails the locals market in terms of returns, and by a significant margin. We were unable to find any games that return 99% or higher there and, in fact, we only found 1 VP game with 98% return.
There are 3 blackjack tables at Silver Nugget with bets ranging from $3-$100. Players may double down before and after splitting and the dealer hits soft 17. Blackjack is the only table game available here.

My Points Las Vegas Players Card

Silver Nugget uses the My Points Las Vegas card for its players club. Players earn points on slots and video poker at a rate of 3 for every $1 wagered. Players may convert 750 points into $1 in free play (0.4%) or 1,000 points for $1 in cash (0.3%). Blackjack players receive an estimated point for every $1 wagered. Food comps are also awarded. Active players receive mailers with free slot play and meals.

Sportsbook at Silver Nugget

Silver Nugget offers a small sportsbook behind the bar that is operated by William Hill. Bets may be made in cash here. Deposits and withdrawals are accepted for the William Hill mobile betting app, too.

Dining & Restaurants at Silver Nugget

There are just two dining options at Silver Nugget. The Wrangler is the full-service restaurant on the property that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu includes skillets, combinations, waffles, French toast, chicken and waffles and many other choices. The prices are competitive with other casinos.
Lunch adds wings, burgers and sandwiches. Dinner adds steak, chicken and prime rib. There is also a kid’s menu. It is open from 7 AM to 11 PM.
Sub Station is open 24 hours. It serves hot and cold sandwiches. It is located by the bowling alley.
