Hard Rock Las Vegas Review

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is located just east of the Las Vegas Strip on Flamingo Rd. It is one of two Hard Rock properties in the U.S. that are not owned by the Seminole Tribe in Florida. The other is in Oklahoma.
The hotel walls are covered with rock memorabilia. The energy of the casino is high. The aura is one of the best in Las Vegas. It has one of the youngest clienteles in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Hard Rock Casino is owned by Brookfield Asset Management. This is the same company that won the bid on Revel in Atlantic City. The company has a history of buying distressed assets in an attempt to at a turnaround. Hard Rock Las Vegas opened in 1995. It offers three nightclubs and 670 hotel rooms.

Casino at Hard Rock Las Vegas

Hard Rock Casino has a small casino floor. It spreads about 30,000 square feet of gaming action. It offers more table games than most casinos of similar size.
There is a high limit salon for baccarat and blackjack players looking to bet $100 or more per hand. The blackjack in the high limit area stays on all 17’s and allows surrender.
There are 38 six-deck blackjack tables on the main casino floor with $10-$2,000 limits. The dealer hits a soft 17 in these games. There are three $15-$1,000 single deck blackjack games that pay 6-5. A single $25-$2,000 double deck game is spread.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino offers 670 hotel rooms. There is a $22 per night resort fee that is in addition to the base rate.

King Suite – The 701 square-foot King Suite offers a separate living area and a “tea for two” tub. There are three locations within the property. The rate is based on the view. It starts at $84 on weeknights and $118 on weekends.
Two Queen Suite – The Two Queen Suite is the same size as the queen suite. It offers two beds and the tub offers enough room for four people. Rates start at $101 during the week and $135 on weekends.
Executive King Suite – This 540 square-foot suite offers a separate living area and oversized bathroom. Rates start at $99 on weeknights and $139 on weekends.
Deluxe Suite – The Deluxe Suite is 900 square feet. It offers a two person dining table, a Strip view, jet tub and spa amenities. Rates start at $169 on weeknights and $209 on weekends.

Dining at Hard Rock Las Vegas

Nobu is the flagship dining experience at Hard Rock Casino. It offers fresh seafood and sushi. Entrees start around $25. Sushi is priced in the same vicinity.
Culinary Dropout is a unique pub food dining option with a special attitude. Pink Taco is a California taco bar. 35 Steaks and Martinis is the top choice for steaks. There is also Fu Asian Kitchen, a 24-hour café, a juice bar and two coffee shops.

Bars at Hard Rock Las Vegas

There are several casino bars that spread video poker and a wide variety of liquor. The Luxe Bar and Center Bar offer a separate lounge area. The Ainsworth is an upscale sports bar located just outside of the Cantor Gaming sports book.
Nightclubs include Rehab Day Club and Body English Nightclub. Vanity is a club that is only open for special events. It may be reserved for private parties.

Hard Rock Casino is located on Paradise Rd just north of the intersection with Harmon Avenue. It is directly across the street from UNLV and just blocks north of the airport.

The Joint and Vinyl are live music venues at Hard Rock Casino. Soundwaves is the outdoor pool live music area. Popular acts from the 80’s and 90’s visit Hard Rock. These include Guns n’ Roses, Kiss, and cover bands.
