Arizona Charlie’s Boulder is on Boulder Highway between Sam’s Town and Boulder Station. It is owned by Golden Entertainment, which specializes in local gaming taverns. The company’s most notable brands include PT’s Pub, Sierra Gold and Sean Patrick’s. Stratosphere, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Aquarius Casino in Laughlin are all sister casinos to Arizona Charlie’s Boulder.
Arizona Charlie’s Boulder is a standard locals joint for this area of Las Vegas. It is smoky and not as modern as the big Las Vegas resort casinos. There are low limits on table games and plenty of penny and nickel slots. The quality of video poker at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder is significantly below par with the rest of the Boulder Highway market.
Finally, there is a small sportsbook and a bingo hall on the property. The dining options reflect the clientele, with low-priced meals and quick bites.
Though there is a hotel and 3 bars, there is little to do at Arizona Charlie’s beyond gambling. There is a lounge act at Palace Grand Lounge several days a week but that is all that is available entertainment wise.

Casino at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder

There are just 7 table games at Arizona Charlie’s. There are 3 double deck blackjack tables with $5-$500 limits. However, the minimum may get bumped up to $10 during peak hours. Players may double down before and after splitting and Aces may be re-split (this is one of the few $5 tables in Las Vegas that permits re-split aces). There is a $3-$500 six-deck shoe with the same rules. The dealer hits soft 17 at all blackjack games at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder.
Free Bet Blackjack is spread with limits of $5-$500. It is one of the few places to find this game with a 3-2 payout in Las Vegas.
There is $5-$1,000 Pai Gow Poker. Craps is available with $2-$1,000 limits, but it may get bumped to $5 during peak hours. The odds are ten times and the Field pays triple on 12.
There are no video poker games at Arizona Charlie’s that return more than 99%, and most of the machines here are slots. There are much better options at nearly all other casinos on Boulder Highway.

AcePlay Players Club

AcePlay is the players club used by both Arizona Charlie’s in the Las Vegas area. Stratosphere and Aquarius also use AcePlay.
There are 3 different tiers in AcePlay. They are Blue, Orange, Green and Red. Blue starts out at single slot points. Each tier goes up another notch. This makes Orange double, Green triple and Red quadruple slot points.
Players Orange and higher receive 25% off the buffet, 10% off at other restaurants and a birthday gift. Green adds tower admission at Stratosphere, a host and seating priority. Red receives limo service and the best seat at Top of the World at Stratosphere.
Points earned may be converted into points, cash or free slot play. Players may convert 300 points into $1 in comps. It takes 500 points for $1 in slot play. Cash back is pair at a rate of 600 points for every $1.

Sportsbook at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder
