Aliante Casino is owned by Boyd Gaming and is located in the far north part of the Las Vegas Valley, in North Las Vegas. It is one of the higher-end locals resorts and was first opened by Station Casinos on November 11, 2008. Boyd Gaming eventually acquired the property in 2016.
The gaming has declined somewhat at Aliante Casino after it was acquired by Boyd Gaming. Boyd removed many of the quality video poker machines, leaving just three 100% games after the acquisition. The blackjack and other table games rules remained the same.
There are 13 restaurants at Aliante Casino which range from fast food to fine dining. This gives guests a wide variety of menus to choose from. There is a small concert venue, movie theater, high-end lounge and spa on the property.

Gaming at Aliante Casino

The gaming at Aliante is typical of a Las Vegas locals casino, and we consider it to be slightly above average for the market. It may not be worth traveling to the far north end of the Las Vegas Valley just to pay Aliante a visit. However, gamblers that live nearby will find that it is worth visiting.

Table Games

There are 30 table games at Aliante Casino, and the most popular is double deck blackjack. There are 11 of these tables available. Double down before and after splitting is permitted and Aces may be re-split. Blackjack pays 3-2 here, and the limits are $5-$500.
There are two other blackjack games at Aliante. One is a $5-$500 single deck game with three tables which pays 6-5 on blackjack. This makes it the worst blackjack game at Aliante Casino. Double down before splitting is offered.
There are two six-deck shoe blackjack games with $5-$500 limits. Double down before and after splitting are permitted and Aces may be re-split up to four hands. Blackjack pays 3-2 in this game. The dealer hits soft 17 at all Aliante Casino blackjack tables.
Craps is offered at three tables with $5-$500 limits. It offers 10x odds and the Field bet pays triple on 12.
There are three double zero roulette tables with limits of $5-$1,000. There are also three Pai Gow Poker tables, which all have the same limits.
Three Card Poker is offered with limits of $5-$100. Ultimate Texas Hold’em is offered with $5-$50 limits. Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em all have an optional $1 progressive jackpot side bet.

Video Poker

The video poker at Aliante Casino has been downgraded pretty heavily since Boyd Gaming acquired the property in 2016. Several sections of 100% machines have disappeared, and there is only one section of three machines left, which is located by the players club. The only denomination on these 100% machines is quarters. The games are full pay Deuces Wild (100.76%), Double Bonus (100.17%), Loose Deuces Wild (100.15%) and Double Double Bonus (100.07%). These machines do not pay BConnected points.
There are two banks of “Up to 99.8%” video poker games at Aliante Casino. The denominations are quarter, half-dollar and dollar. The games include Triple Bonus Plus (99.8%), Not-so-ugly Deuces Wild (99.73%), Bonus Poker Deluxe (99.64%) and Jacks or Better (99.54%). These games pay the standard amount of BConnected points.

Aliante Casino hosts a 200-seat bingo room. It is an all-paper room that does not permit smoking. The first game daily is at 10am. There is a new bingo session every two hours. The last is at 10pm.

Aliante Casino attempted two poker rooms during its era. There was a live poker room that closed in 2012. Aliante brought back poker in the form of PokerPro machines. That experiment did not last long as the parent company of the machines changed hands. The new owners did not pursue a Nevada gaming license, so the digital poker room ended up closing in 2016.

Sportsbook at Aliante Casino

Aliante Casino offers a sportsbook that is modern and large for a locals casino. The Aliante sportsbook is no longer independent, however. It uses lines from BConnected Sports, which are shared by all Boyd Gaming properties. Deposits and withdrawals for the BConnected Sports mobile betting app are processed here.
